silent evangelism

I just read this article and appreciated how well the author put into words some of the ideas I've been processing. Thought I would share it with you. If you're not interested in reading that, scroll down a bit more to read today's post. If you do read the article, I'd love to hear what you think.

After reading the quote twice, I figured it out. He is right that many Christians don't believe actions are necessary as long as they "say the right words". My husband deals with this at work. One co-worker in particular teaches a men's Bible study. He talks about church but out of his mouth comes filthy words, perverse stories and it seems that if he were to stop his few "Christian" words, you'd never know he may be saved. Faith without works in dead. When Jesus is your Savior, your life shows it, almost without trying too hard. An amazing testimony to God's love!

Excellent article. I can tell, you and I think and "process" alike. I too felt convicting reading that b/c some days my actions don't back what I say I believe. I'm just so thankful and at times overwhelmed that God knows our hearts and that his spirit can counsel & inspire us to act based on our beliefs (and the way we've been loved). I could go on and on about this topic. Thanks for the link!
