Sharing Sara's Story

This is one of the most life changing stories God has written on my heart. People say that adopted children are "lucky". First of all,I don't believe in luck. Second, I know from my own experience that those of us whom God has called to bring a child in need into our hearts and home are given a sweet taste of Heaven on Earth. What could be better? I hope you enjoy watching our family's adventure to China and back and pray that God blesses you in some small way through this precious little girl whose story is one of courage, hope, healing and transformation. God is SO good! (By the way, the video runs about 15 minutes in length. I've added some fun surprises at the end to encourage you to watch it all the way through.) As you can see in the video, each day I am truly LIVING A BLESSED LIFE. I hope and pray that you are as well!

With love & blessings in Christ, Amy

I love your picture. It is so beautiful. I am very glad we met at the conference and I can't wait to see what God does through our writer's group. I believe we share a lot in common, mainly being completely in love with Jesus. I can't wait to watch your video.

Amy,

This was a heartfilling video! I loved it. You should be showing this at local churches and then encouraging other families to adopt.

The part that touched me was the pic. of her first shoes. Did you buy them in China? I have an adopted daughter, Valerie, from Russia and we still have that first pair of orange sandels that we bought for her while in Russia. I love to get them out and just hold them.

God is so good! Val has lived with us for 8 years now and we are a blessed family!! You are too!

I am so glad that I will be in a writing critique group with you. We have this adoption thing in common in addition to writing and being daughters of the King!

Love in Christ,
Sonya T.

Thanks for your comment on my blog and for sharing your precious video with us. Wow, every time I watch one of these I get caught up in God's awesome plan and it overwhelms me. Our daughter is also such a blessing to us and it is hard to put into words. My brother will be making our video and I can't wait to share it with others.

You have a beautiful family~

What a precious gift for Sara that you have put together for her memories. It was a beautiful reminder of the precious gift we have in all of our children and the blessing of our time in China.

P.S. I love her sweet voice singing "Jesus Loves Me"
